Letter from the ARMO Chair

by Katia Zoppetti, ARMO Chair

Rotomoulding is a World of Possibilities

As we all know so very well -- Rotomoulding is a World of Possibilities. It is a flexible process that reaches the global marketplace in terms of geographic locations and products and applications. Being present throughout the world has allowed all our local associations to pool their resources and form the unique affiliation of ARMO.

ARMO is a global identity. For this reason, we must continue to pursue our objectives to enhance the global framework and meet the challenges of our industry, collecting and exploring our shared knowledge and resources. This can be only be achieved if we act together. Unity is strength formed by teamwork and collaboration, and wonderful things can be achieved.

This is my vision for achievement with your help over the next two years - a global group that works together to overcome the diversity of cultures and approach -- so that ARMO will maintain our standing as a truly global network providing great benefit to our various member associations and to our industry as a whole.

I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2019!

Sincerely,

Katia Zoppetti

ARMO Chairwoman

The BPF Rotational Moulding Group

The British Plastics Federation (BPF) Rotational Moulding Group represents and promotes the interests of all those involved in the rotational moulding process – moulders, material suppliers, machinery, and ancillary equipment manufacturers and service providers.

The BPF has played a leading role worldwide by producing the first Rotational Moulding H&S guidance in the world, the very first document to tackle health and safety issues in the rotational moulding industry and to provide a list of what to assess and what to look for when a rotational moulder is carrying out a risk assessment. The document gives advice on the safeguarding requirements for foreseeable hazards associated with rotational moulding machines, including whole body entrapment. READ MORE

The Rotomachinery Group Expand its Production Capacity in North America

SHERBROOKE (QC) CANADA — We are glad that last year has finished with an additional 9.000 sq.ft. (800 sq. m.) of production space in our Canadian site of Sherbrooke (QC), 70 miles east of Montreal.

Mr. Pierluigi Sacchi, president of the Rotomachinery Group reports: “This is another step forward in our investment program in North America. This expansion allows more efficient work conditions and organization, and helps with the logistics, and increases our production output by shortening lead times. The technical department works in a closer contact with the technicians in the shop and the after-sales service has been enhanced by further investing in people and media for remote assistance, further improving the customer’s experience.” READ MORE
